Steven Ellis Day
Steven Day is a multi-hyphenate theater artist from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a BFA in Musical theater from Taylor University. While receiving a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of musical theater, Steven’s Taylor Theatre career also helped cultivate his passions for sound design, direction, playwriting, and music composition. Steven’s recent Taylor Theatre credits include Trigorin (The Seagull), Everybody (Everybody), Lloyd (Noises Off), Macduff (MacBeth), and Phil Davis (White Christmas). Recently, Steven has been awarded the Faculty Mentorship Undergraduate Scholarship grant, enabling him to pursue musical theater composition in a project this summer with the guidance of Dr. Reed Spencer. After graduation, Steven aspires to leverage the opportunities provided by Taylor University to work in the areas of acting, directing, sound design, and music composition.
